Add markers on the plan view to signify doors and windows, to help with the alignment of cabinets in your kitchen. Click on the walls as pictured on the left, and a dialog box will appear asking for the size of the door or window. You can always remove these from your plan at a later time.

Select components from the left menu, click the "Add to floor plan" button in the description to place the cabinet/item in the center of your floor plan. For there, you can click and drag the item to the appropriate location and rotate using the controls pictured on the left.

Toggle the plan view from floor level to wall level cabinets with the button pictured on the left. The floor level cabinets will appear darkened on the wall cabinet view to assist with alignment.
